Shirehall Winter Fair a great success

Over twenty charities and volunteer groups came together on Saturday 1st December to hold a Winter Fair in Hereford's Shirehall. Organised by Herefordshire's Liberal Democrats, the day saw groups such as the RSPCA, Red Cross and Herefordshire Air Ambulance taking the opportunity to raise funds and awareness of the valuable work they do in our county.

Lib Dem Parliamentary candidates for South and North Herefordshire, Sarah Carr and Lucy Hurds were there to run the event, as was Paul Keetch MP in his role as patron of Heartstart. ' The response from local organisations and the public has been wonderful' said Lucy Hurds. 'It's been a great day' said Sarah Carr. 'These organisations do so much for Herefordshire and we want to help them as much as we can. On behalf of all Liberal Democrats I want to say a big thank you to everyone who gives their time for good causes.'
